	Illustration is a discipline hard to classify entirely. Arguably, it does not fit into the world of Fine Arts, yet, it is nothing shy of a true art form. Illustration has a great role in society to entertain, teach, inform, persuade, and to guide.		Medical illustration is a highly specific subset of the illustration field. Medical illustrators go through an intense education in both the fine arts and the sciences. Not only do medical illustrators need to know the body inside and out, but they have to be able to draw it.		If a lone image can carry 1000 words, think of its potential when it can move on its own and tell an even greater story.
